As a caregiver at Happyhomecare, you will provide personalized care directly in the client’s home.
Your role is to support them in their daily activities, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and a sense of home for as long as possible.
Each client has unique needs, but we also make sure to adapt to your needs — we plan your work schedule to ensure you have enough personal time and a healthy balance between work and rest. Preferences regarding holidays or weekends can also be taken into account by agreement with the client.

Competitive Pay: Daily wages start at €90 and can be higher depending on your experience and the level of care required. You’ll also receive bonuses, supplements, and reimbursement for travel to the Netherlands.

What Are the Conditions of Employment?
What Qualifications Do I Need to Become a Caregiver?
We’re looking for empathetic and responsible individuals with communication skills in Dutch or English. A completed caregiver training course or a background in healthcare is required. Previous caregiving experience is an advantage, but not a must — we provide every new colleague with introductory training and support during their adaptation.
What Type of Contract Do You Offer?
Work is based on self-employment (freelance/sole proprietorship). If you’re just getting started or need help with the administrative process, we’re happy to guide you through the basics.
What Is the Working Schedule Like?
We use 6-week rotations. After each rotation, you’ll have time off at home, depending on your needs and mutual agreement. Working hours are tailored to the client’s needs, but we always strive to maintain a healthy work-life balance. If you prefer a different type of rotation, we’re open to finding a suitable arrangement.
Is There Room for Career Growth?
Absolutely. At Happyhomecare, we believe in growth and nurturing talent. Many of our caregivers eventually move into roles as care coordinators or members of the support team. We’ll be happy to support you on that journey.
